We get it. There’s not much going on in Didcot. That’s why we run youth clubs, holiday trips and weekly football sessions, and create loads of opportunities for you to do new things and learn new skills.

Mentoring
1-2-1 and group support for young people who’ve been finding school, friendships and daily life a bit difficult. TRAIN’s group and 1-2-1 mentoring programmes equip young people with life skills and tools to use in school and in relationships. The mentoring is completely voluntary, with young people choosing to participate and playing an active role.

Youth Voice
Opportunities to help shape the work of TRAIN, discover and develop new skills, lead projects and volunteer in the community. Previous examples of what young people have been involved with through Youth Voice include:
• Meeting with local politicians to speak about what matters to young people
• Bridging the generation gap by running a project with residents at a local care home
• Earning qualifications and skills to add to their CVs and help with applications for college/uni/jobs
• Helping TRAIN recruit new team members
